IdealHeatingCooling¶
Heat flow rate Q_flow (an input), split between the room air and its radiant star
FastSmoothBuildings.HVAC.IdealHeatingCooling, model (source)
Purpose
Ideal heating and cooling given as a heat flow rate: the input Q_flow, positive for heating and
negative for cooling, split between the room air and its radiant star. It has no controller and no limit, so that
the heat flow rate can be a decision of an optimal control problem.
Equations
heatPortCon.Q_flow = −(1 − fRad) Q,
heatPortRad.Q_flow = −fRad Q,
the ports carrying the heat into the component.
Parameters
fraRad = 0, the radiant share.
Use
Connect heatPortCon to heaPorAir and heatPortRad to heaPorRad
of a zone. In Examples.TwoZones the input is the
output of an EmissionMonitored control
times 1500 W.
